This is the first song I ever wrote with my guitar. I got inspiration when I was goofing around playing guitar with a friend. My dad has always loved it and so gladly included this in the album.
lyrics
Well I'm leaving, movin away
Gotta get going, get out of this place
Baby don't worry, I'll be okay.
Just gotta get away.
Somewhere warm and someplace bright,
with a cool breeze, everything's alright.
That's why I'm leaving, movin away
to California
Where the waves roll in from the tide,
and the air is clear, nothing but sunny skies.
That's why I'm leaving, movin away
to California
It's not that I wanna leave home
I just gotta get some ground beneath my feet.
Somewhere to go
Maybe some sand between my toes
Oh I'm leaving, movin away
Gotta get going
Get out of this place
Baby don't worry, I'll be okay
Just gotta get away.
